Japanese Lessons
The 3 main aims of our Japanese lessons are to ensure that all of our students:
- Achieve a strong foundation in all areas of Japanese.
- Set high academic goals in their studies, and exceed them.
- Become fluent in correct formal and conversational Japanese, as is used by native Japanese people.
Each Japanese lesson will cover:
- Reading
- Writing
- Speaking
- Listening
- Vocabulary
- Grammar
- Clarifying any problems with the students' schoolwork
The amount of time spent on each of these skills will depend upon each student's individual level of development.
Each student is given one-on-one attention from trained, native-speaking Japanese tutors for the speaking portion of each lesson.
At the end of each lesson each student is given a list of tasks to study in their own time, which covers:
- Vocabulary
- Grammar
- Kanji
- Katakana
Each student is then quizzed on these tasks at the beginning of the following lesson.
